It had been over a year since we got to this place.
I sat on a bench outside of Björn Café and just watched the stars.
I wondered what my mom did. I never even heard of her since we fled.
Suddenly Demond sat down next to me.
He put his arm around my shoulders. "Hi there, sweetie." he said softly and kissed me on my head.
We sat there for a while.
We had started being a couple since about 8 months back. And I was so happy about it. I finally had my dream come true.

We now had furniture in our house too. Not much yet, we're still paying off loans.
We even had a TV. A really bad one though, but still.
And I had my beautiful boyfriend who I loved more and more for each day. Life was just getting better.

One day when I got home from work, Demond took me to a hot air balloon. He said he had bought a ticket with it, just for a romantic moment for him and me together.
It wasn't very difficult to control either. We steered it to a nearby beach.
It was sunset and we had a very beautiful view over the black beaches and the grey ocean.
"Now I have a surprise for you!" Demond said to me.
"Another one?" I asked, with a grin on my lips.
"Another one." He said as he went down on his knees and picked up a box. "Cosmo. Would you like to marry me?"
I gasped as I stared at the ring, then at him and then at the ring again.
He picked up the ring, who glowed in the sunshine, and said: "Will you?"
"Oh, of course Demond, of course!" I shouted as I jumped into his arms.
He laughed and kissed me on my cheek multiple times.
We stayed there for another couple of hours, just enjoying our time together.
