FEGG - G7 - Amanda - Chapter 6

 Almost every night nowadays I woke up thanks to Juliette screaming and crying in her crib.

And mom just shouted at me to take her and then she kept on sleeping...

 But as I said before, I loved my sister and I liked to take care of her. Even though it could be very exhausting with the time. But one thing was sure, I didn't want kids when I grew up. Nope. 

How should I take care of kids when I wanted to spend every hour with my guitar and music?

But it didn't take many years before I didn't need to change diapers on my sister anymore. She started school and I was so proud of her.

 And I suspected that mom had some guy because she was always out late and sometimes she could walk around in the house, singing to some love song.

Another reason why I guessed she had a guy: she was pregnant again.

She hadn't told me this time, but her belly was bigger. And I think she knew that I knew. 

 I had began being with Lealani again too. It was nice to have her back as a friend again!

 And we played video games like the good old days.

 Juliette sat down in the other couch, watching us playing.

 "You also wanna play, sis?" I asked her, pressing all the buttons at the same time, god I was angry at the game. I was about to lose.

 "Nope, I'm so tired I don't know if I'll fall asleep while playing."

 Suddenly mom come, picked up a control, and joined us.

 We played for a few hours, until mom finally yawned and went to bed, and short afterwards, Juliette fell asleep on the couch.

"Julie? Go to bed instead!" I said to her. "If you would like, I can always read you a bedtime story."

She sat up and yawned. "You can really do that?" she asked, sleepy.

"Of course I can!"

 The story I read was about a girl who sat outdoors, eating strawberries, when suddenly, she ate an enchanted strawberry and she got magic powers.

But Juliette fell asleep way before the end of the story. I smiled and kissed her goodnight before I turned off the light and went to bed myself.

 Soon I also got another sister. This time, Juliette also could pick out a name for her. And her name was Holly.

 Our Holly grew almost as fast as Juliette did.

 And this time, mom also took care of her. It seemed like she stopped being with that mysterious guy, because she spent so much time at home.

 Years went by and Juliette started high school. She was no longer my little sweet sister. Now she could take care of herself, and I guess, I was glad about that. But at the same time it was kinda sad.

 But I also grew up and it was time for me to move.

And I can't forget about Holly. She started first grade and got a lot of friends. I never got to know her as good as Juliette, but I'm sure she's almost as sweet as her.

But now, it was time to broke my own promise about never going to move away from this island. 

Because, Bridgeport, here I come!
