Look how fat I am.
I wasn't this fat as a kid... But I always ate. When I was sad, I ate.
And look how that ended.
I've been trying to exercise, but I feel so horrible and ugly while doing that.
The imagine of me running on this treadmill is disgusting.
And the fact dad had started dating since mom moved out, didn't improve anything.
The woman was Astrid Vinter. And she was horrible. You could see clearly she didn't like us kids. Or anyone in this house except dad.
But I was lucky to have my relatives.
Bryan and I always joked about Astrid.
It felt good.
But I could often find her and dad in the kitchen..
Kissing, like they were the only two there.
Enough about that.
I wanted to change myself. I looked too much like my father, and that killed me.
Therefore, I asked aunt Sheila if I had her permission to dye my hair.
"Dye your hair?" she said. "What color?"
"I don't really know... But maybe black.. or red.." I said. "If you don't think that would look horrible.."
"Dear," she said. "Nothing will look horrible on you. Of course. You have permission to be who you are. As long as you are you." she smiled.
"Oh, you mean that?" I asked surprised. "Thank you!"

Bryan was out with friends, Sheila and dad at work, and Lukas was probably at the gym.
It was only Maribel home when I walked through the door, with my new hair.
Or should I say, my new style.
"Oh my god!" she said when she saw me. Immediately she rose from the floor.
"Are you really Sebastian? Have you dyed your hair?"
I smiled shyly. "Yeah... I have.. Does it look that horrible..?"
"Horrible?!" she stared at me. "Of course not! It's awesome! I also wanna dye my hair! But in that case, I'll dye it pink! Because pink is so cute, and I would look adorable, don't you think?"
I smiled. At least someone here had self-confidence.

"Sebastian? Is that you?" Bryan asked, he had just came home.
"Wow dude, you never told me about changing style!" he said, sitting down next to me in the couch.
"Well, to be honest, I never got the chance to tell myself either. I went to the hairdresser after school."
"It's awesome! Never thought you would do something like that. But now you don't look like your father anymore, and let's just say, that's the best part!"
I grinned. From Bryan, that was a real compliment.
