FEGG - G10 - Sebastian - Chapter 9

I couldn't stop thinking about her.

We hadn't seen eachothers for about two weeks now. I'd been calling her but she never answered or called back.

I'd just kept on with my work.

And my training on the treadmill.

Honestly, since that kiss, I'd spent every single second out in the park or the gym, except sleeping, just to find Bebe.

But one day, I had to go home from work early. I had to get some papers from my bedroom.

I ran upstairs and the first I saw was Bebe sitting in the only chair reading a book.

"Bebe?!" I exclaimed. "What... How did you get here?"

"Oh, I thought you'd never show up." she said. "The back door was open, so I thought you were home."

 Then she didn't say anything.

Her hair was different. Instead of cornrows, she now had straight hair with black dip dye.
She even had a bow and a fringe.

"Your hair!" I said. "It's awesome! I like it!"

I didn't want to tell her she looked even cuter than before. Not since there was an awkward silence over this room.

"You think?" she smiled shyly. The first time ever I'd seen her be shy. "Thank you. I wanted something new."

"Well.. it looks great!" I said again, before it went silent.

"The reason I came here.. I wanted to talk about that kiss. I'm sorry, I don't.."

"About that kiss," I cut her off. "I've been thinking, and maybe I could take you out on a real date?"

 She stared at me.

"I don't.. if you'd like.." I said fast.

"Of course we can go on a date! I want that!" she said and smiled.

"Really?" I smiled back and she nodded.

It was chilly outside and I was on the beach searching for Bebe.

I found her in a deckchair.

"You shouldn't be sitting here, you'll get sunburnt!" I said to her.

"But I have suntan!" she said.

"You have? Give me some," I sat down in the chair next to her.

"Sorry, but it's empty now."

We sat there chatting about useless stuff for awhile.

It was funny and cold.

"You know what?" I said after God knows how long.

"We should race to the water and see who gets into the water first." I said with a grin.

"Swimming? But it's freezing cold!" Bebe exclaimed.

 "Chicken?" I teased.

"Chicken? I'm not a chicken!" Bebe said. "If I'm anything, I'm a rooster!"

"You're a chicken." I said.

But she didn't listen, she just turned around and sprinted towards the water.

"Oh you, wait!" I shouted after her and ran after.

She got in the water first.

"But you cheated!" I said.

"Nooo! I didn't!" she shouted. "You're just a bad loser!"

"You began running before I even said go!" I said.

Bebe shook her head. "You never said anything about that!"

"I didn't get the chance too!" I exclaimed and splashed in the water so it came on her.

She screamed and splashed back. "Don't do that!" she laughed.

"Bebe, wait!" I shouted when she started to swim away.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even though it was a cold night, I didn't freeze anymore.

We sat on the beach, looking at the stars and chatting with eachothers.

 It was nice.

"I think I'll start getting home." Bebe said after a while. "I'm tired..."

"Oh, okay." I rose from the ground.

"Wait a second," I said and pulled her closer to kiss her.

"Good night Bebe." I said with a smile.

"Good night. I'll see you soon." she smiled and kissed my cheek before she left the beach.
