Skype
A few weeks later, when I went out with the trash, I saw Jun. But her hair. And her glasses... The hadn't her glasses on, and her hair was released. She had a long, blue, beautiful dress. She was so beautiful.
"Hi Jun!" I said, surprised to see her there, on the outside of my apartment.
"Hi Skype... I need to talk to you..." she said and I could see that there was concern in her eyes.
"What now?" I asked and studied her face.
"Well... you see... I've felt sick lately. Very sick. And yesterday, I went to the hospital... The doctor told me I'm pregnant. With your child."
"You ARE?!" I stared at her. Oh shit. What should we do now?! "That's amazing but..."
"But we don't have money enough for the child." Jun cut me off.
I nodded and stared at her belly.
"Oh Skype... What should we do?" I could see tears in her eyes now.
"Don't you worry, sweetie," I said and smiled at her, even though I was just as worried as she looked.
I pulled her into my arms. "I'll go talk to my sister, maybe she has any idea..."
Sapphire sat in the sofa when I walked into our apartment.
I sat down next to her. "Saphi..."
She looked at me. "What now? You look concerned. Have something happened?"
"Well kind of... Your boss... and also my girlfriend, Jun... you know..?"
Sapphire frowned. "What now?" she asked suspiciously.
"She's pregnant. With my baby."
Sapphire raised her brows. "She is? Are you sure it's your baby?"
I nodded. "Yeah. I'm sure."
She didn't even hesitate before she answered. "You should propose to her."
"What did you say?"
"If you're going to have a baby together, you'll need to live together, for the baby. And why not propose on the same time? You rush into things so fast so why not?"
I stared at her for awhile. Was that really coming from my little sister? It sounded like something a kid could have said.
"Well..." I said. "I guess you have a point..."
My sister rose from the sofa and walked to the table a few feet away. Jun walked in.
"So? You have any idea?" she asked.
"Well yeah, but sit down first."
She smiled and sat down in the sofa. "Why?"
I went down on my knees and took her hand.
"Well, if we're going to have a baby together, we'll have to move in together. So, Jun Xu, will you marry me?"
Jun blushed.
"Yes. Yes I will." She said and jumped into my arms. "But we still have some problem with the money."
"Whatever," I said and kissed her on her forehead.

Sapphire
Meanwhile, I felt lonely. My brother and his girl was cuddling in the sofa.
But suddenly, to my rescue, my phone rang.
It was Barry!
"Would you like to meet me at Waylon's Haunt tonight?"
My eyes went bigger. "You mean as a... date?"
I could actually hear him smile on the phone. "Yeah. A date."
So that night I went to Waylon's Haunt.
To meet Barry.
On a date.
I saw him sitting at the bar so I walked up to him. "Hey!"
He turned his head. "Hi! You came!"
"Of course I did!"
"Anything new?"
"Nah... my brother proposed to his girlfriend today, nothing important."
Barry's eyes widened. "He did? Wow, I didn't expect that!"
A grin crossed my face. "Neither did I."
After a long conversation, we played some table football.
But still we continued to talk. Like always when we were together.
And I was really bad at that, so I swore a lot.
The time was running late and we started to dance instead of playing that stupid game.
Suddenly, a slow song came on. I stopped dancing and my cheeks went red.
Barry looked at me. "Why did you stop?"
"Ehrm..." I said and I could feel my cheeks getting hotter and hotter.
I said the first thing a stupid, awkwardly social girl would say when someone asked her why she stopped dancing. "I can't dance to slow songs."
Barry put his hand on my shoulder and with his other hand, he grabbed my hand. "Well then I'll show you!"
I didn't say anything more than that. We just stood there, dancing together.
I stared into his beautiful brown eyes. Studied his gorgeous face, his stubble, his lips. And his brown wonderful hair. Oh I wanted to touch that hair. It looked so smooth.
The slow song ended and a party song came on, but we didn't stop dancing like this.
And I was happy over that.
We had been dancing for a long time. Through a lot of different songs. Slow songs, party songs, hip hop songs, rock songs, love songs.
But as I said for a few hours ago, the time was running late.
"Barry..." I whispered.
"Yeah?"
"I need to go... I have to go up early tomorrow to my work, I would really like to stay but then I won't get enough sleep and..."
"I understand." he cut me off.
"I had a wonderful time." he said, pulling me into a hug.
"Me too."
