We moved into a skyscraper. In a very small apartment. We had to build an extra wall just to get some privacy in our bedrooms.
And those elevator doors... I hated them! It was the first time in my life I used an elevator and I felt so scared.
We lived on the highest floor and we had views of the entire city. That was amazing.

The second night we lived in Bridgeport, we went to a pub. It was also the first time in my life I set my foot in a pub. I liked the atmosphere there.
People was dancing to the music in the stereo and someone was laughing and I could hear people talking everywhere.
I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink.
The bartender mixed my drink. I don't really know what he put in it, but I hoped I wouldn't get drunk the first time I was at a pub.
Another woman came to the bar to. For a few minutes, she just stood there. I could feel her eyes on me. But I tried my hardest to not stare back at her.
When I finally got my drink, she stopped staring at me.
I noticed that Skype had met a few that he talked to.
After the drink, I went to the washroom. No one, except me, was in there. I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Maybe I didn't belong here. Since that woman just stood there, staring at me, I had noticed more people staring at me.
I maybe looked to childish. I had blonde hair and a t-shirt. I wore no make up, and did definitely not look like the other girls in here.
I took a deap breath and decided to go home, so I walked out from the washroom.
The first thing I met was a guy. So he wasn't really a thing. He had an unbuttoned shirt and lipgloss and eyeliner. He was probably gay. Not that I have nothing against it. I just hadn't met someone who showed it this much before.
"Hi there, sweetie!" he said.
"Well, uhm, hello.." I said and smiled.
"Are you new in this city? I've never seen you before!"
I was surprised. This city that was so large!
"Ehm, yeah. I am. How did you know that? Are you stalking everyone who lives here, or what?" I asked with that smile on my lips.
"No, no! You know, when you've lived here your whole life, you notice someone new when you see her." he said. "My name is Rafael by the way."
"I am Sapphire." I said. "I'm from Aurora Skies, and I moved here yesterday!"
"Yesterday? So why did you move here, Sapphire?" he asked.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After talking with Rafael for a while, I started to get hungry. I ordered onion rings.
A lot of people went home, so it was very few left, and I was the only one who sat at the bar. So I started to talk with the bartender.
Then Skype came and sat down on the chair next to me.
"I am starting to feel tired." he said. "Shall we go home?"
I nodded and yawned.
