A week later after my work, my phone rang. It was Nolan! He asked if we could meet in the Botanical Garden.
Of course I said yes!
I still had my work clothes on when I got there, but I noticed it too late. I blushed and pulled down the t-shirt a little bit over my belly. It was so short!
"Ehm... Vilhelmina.." started Nolan. "Would you like to hang out with me... tonight... like a date?"
I stared at him. Could it be true? Did he really ask me this?
I waited a few seconds to see if it was some sort of joke or anything. But he just looked at me with his chocolate-brown eyes and I could see that he was nervous.
"Nolan, yes!" I said.
His eyes shined and a smile spread on his face. "Really?! I'll pick you up at six!"
He took me to a beautiful resturant, The Blooming Cactus Bistro.
We ordered food and sat outside and ate. It was so beautiful, and it was sunset!
We ate in silence.
"Freezing?" asked Nolan after awhile.
I shook my head. "No, not really. I'm having a wonderful time."
He smiled at me and continued to eat.
The sun was almost down when we finished our meal. We had sat there a few hours and talked about everything. I even told him about my family.
I even got a hug from him!!!
I grabbed his hands.
"Nolan, can we go somewhere else, where they have light?"
He laughed. That was right, that expensive resturant didn't have streetlights. "Yes of course, milady."
He took me to a park with a lot of small fountains on the ground. But no one of the fountains were on.
"Would you like to look at the stars with me?" Nolan asked.
I just nodded.
We sat down on the ground, side by side and I started to searching for falling stars.
Suddenly I could feel his hand covering mine.
I looked at him and he grinned back at me. I felt my cheeks become hot as I smiled back at him.
The time was running late and I started to get cold.
"I think I should go now..." I said and stood up. "I'm starting to get cold..."
"Wait a few seconds," he said.
I looked at him in surprise. "What now?"
Then he leaned forward and kissed me!
Oh my godness!
